This piece features a cropped detail from Saint Catherine of Siena (1665) by Carlo Dolci, chosen for its reverence, poise, and emotion.

The image is framed by a layered thorn heart, hand-drawn and painted by me in metallic gold on plywood. The contrast between softness and severity creates tension - this is for those who are drawn to ritual, symbolism, and ornamentation.
